It is the evening before a major celebration honoring Daisy's life work. Instead of being filled with joy she finds out she is dying and has to decide how to handle Emily, her partner of 40 years, who has Alzheimer's. Shifting from the past to the present, Nicolaou's compelling new film about love and devotion takes us back to the life-altering day 40 years ago when Emily confessed her love for Daisy.
